A dress in a hemline cut, modeled on a find from Pskov. It is very spacious and has a gathered neckline, tied with a ribbon. The famous dress from Pskov was an extremely rich costume - expensive blue linen was combined with a patterned silk fabric, which was used to trim both the cuffs and the lower hem of the dress.
Our work combines archaeological evidence with iconographic sources—manuscript illustrations, reliefs, and early medieval visual representations—allowing us to create garments that are both source-based and functional.
