Hand-Woven Merino Wool Fabric – 2/2 Twill
Historically accurate early medieval fabric
This hand-woven fabric made from 100% merino wool is produced on a traditional loom with a flying shuttle, using historical weaving techniques. It is one of the most historically accurate fabrics available on the reenactment market.
The 2/2 twill (diagonal) weave was the most common and widely used weave in the early Middle Ages, frequently found in archaeological discoveries from Northern and Central Europe. Thanks to this, the fabric is perfectly suited for historical reenactment, LARP, film, theatre, and museum projects.
The fabric is excellent for natural dyeing.
