A historical tent based on many representations of early medieval iconography, e.g.
- 9th century France, Valenciennes, BM, 412 (393 bis)
There are indications that medieval tents could have been made of wool - as the cheapest and most available fabric in the early Middle Ages. In the reenactment, impregnated cotton is most often used because of its much lower price and weight.
They are available in two dimensions:
1. diameter 3,5 m, height 3,5 m (for 2-3 people)
2. diameter 4 m, height 3,75 m (for 3-4 people)
The tents we offer are sewn by machine.
The fabric we offer is impregnated cotton - 100% waterproof
The price includes:
- Wooden frame
- The right amount of forged tent pegs needed to pitch the tent.
- Cotton bags for the tent and for pegs
