Reconstruction of the saber from the burial of the 61/4 cemetery in Shestovica. It is one of the few preserved sabers from the territory of Kievan Rus, dated to the 10th-11th centuries.
The saber is also suitable for reenactment of the Saltovo-Mayaki culture, including Alans and Khazars, as well as Magyar (Hungarian) warriors of the period.
