The most basic and necessary element of medieval costume, without which you won't start your reconstruction ;) A simple shirt made of linen (as well as hemp or nettle), used both in Western Europe, in Slavic territory and Scandinavia.

Our work combines archaeological evidence with iconographic sources—manuscript illustrations, reliefs, and early medieval visual representations—allowing us to create garments that are both source-based and functional.
